In Their Own Words

Bambiraptor Feinbegri by Mike Wohl

Bambiraptor Feinbegri is a relatively recent fossil discovery from the cretaceous geologic era. Bambiraptor Feinbegri, like many of the most exciting recent dinosaur discoveries, was a relatively small animal and was covered with feathers.

It is now widely believed that feathers, which are composed of the same material as scales, began as a form of insulation and then developed into a flight mechanism for some animals.

I sculpted this figure using Sculpy modeling clay.
