Review
AJ Press Tank Power Panther Series by Phil Novak
This series of books is now up to seven volumes, yet they have been only
moderately impressive. They start out with a section detailing the variants covered in
the given volume. The text is complimented by wartime photographs of varying
quality.
Most, however, are unremarkable and commonly seen. This is followed up by page after page of basically redundant line drawings of the suspension, turret, and other components of the vehicle. There's over 100 drawings in each book, so its pretty repetitive by volume 7. One of the highlights of the books are the color plates at the end.
There are some cool camouflage schemes, and they give you views of a couple different sides. The last
pages consist of materials that exist for plastic models. They pretty much go through all of the different
kits available and the aftermarket items for them. Not too shabby if you ask me. So really if you get a
chance, go through them and make the call. I could take them or leave them.
