DML 1/6 Action Figures by Phil Novak

Lately Dragon has taken a slight steer away form traditional figure modeling. They have decided to make an accurate GI Joe type figure. Most remember the old GI Joe action figures, all of which were completely inaccurate, and offered no sense of history. DML figures are vastly different, offering not only an extremely flexible body, but also details that are 100% accurate.

The uniforms have every detail that was on the real thing, and even the belt buckle has lettering that is completely legible. The weapons that come with these figures is the most amazing, with detachable and moving parts. Take for example their MG34. It is able to completely break down, its barrel removed, its cover plate lifted (reveling finely detailed feed pawls and recoil spring) its bipod moves and sights move up and down.

Accessory sets add a lot to the figures, as there are many things that are available. For example machine gun ammo sets, uniforms, weapons, and even fuel drums and jerry cans. With these items a myriad of different diorama possibilities are available. The figure faces are also works of art, with excellent expressions and features. We all look forward to each new figure release and wonder what will they think of next???
