Modelers of coal operations, especially those who model loads-in/loads-out or others that require removal and replacing of coal loads, will enjoy these new removable coal loads from Accurail.

Two loads currently are offered, designed to fit the Accurail USRA twin hopper and Athearn twin-bay hopper. They're molded in black plastic with a coarse simulated coal texture. Modelers wanting a bit more detail can easily coat the loads with black paint and sprinkle scale coal atop the paint.

These loads are special because they're designed to be removed easily using a magnet. A pair of steel ball bearings (included) is pressed in place in pockets under each load. This allows a magnet to easily remove the load from the car without touching the car or taking it off the track.

The loads are sold in sets of 12 or 48. The 48-packs include a load removal magnet, which also is available separately.
