Pink Soap by David Clarke

Every time I paint, I keep a bottle of Pink Soap handy. I don't know what's in it but it cleans up both enamels and acrylics. It's also good for correcting mistakes - it can remove paint from models. I even used it remove a paint splatter from my clothes.

One of main uses I have for it is brush maintenance. It easily and quickly cleans the brushes in between colors. Reconditioning brushes is another thing Pink Soap is good for. If the tips of the brush are splayed, simply put a dab of Pink Soap on it and shape the end of the tip. Leave it on until you're ready to use the brush. Even then you don't have to rinse residue off the brush (water works just fine), it dissolves in the paint. The life of my brushes has been extended at least two to three times.
