Review

The Atlas SD-35 is one of the most powerful engines on the market today, able to pull at least 25 cars and scale a grade of about 6%. I started by testing the pulling power of the engine by putting as many cars behind it that I could. It performed so well that I ran out of space on the test track to put enough cars so that it would not run.

Next I jacked up one end of the test track little by little so that I could see how steep of a grade it could scale. I ended up with about a 25 degree angle before it would not go up anymore. I give it my seal of approval on power and detailing. Atlas also did a very nice job in painting the SD-35's.
