Review

For those of you interested in 1/72^nd scale figures, Zvezda from Russia, has released a new line of scale medieval forts and castles. There are three different styles listed: a wooden one and two stone versions (one of which has rounded towers and the other square towers.)

The wooden kit is available now. It is molded in light brown plastic and is compatible with Testors plastic cement. Also, additional wall, tower, and gate sections are available. The assembled sections are held in place by poly tabs so you can disassemble and expand the fortress to suit your needs. Detail on the wooden fortress is very good and the wall sections have detail on both sides!

Future figure sets and accessories sets will include from Hannibal and up to the Mongol invasions. I've painted their Greek Hoplites and Persian infantry. These are some of the finest 1/72^nd scale figures I have seen in some time.
