Painting WWII Figures by Phil Novak

This book is the 8th book in a series of "how to do it" military modeling guides. An overall strong book, it is a little weak in some areas. (A little too weak for the 17.95 price tag.) I think that some of the work that is featured in it is not the best that's around, a big turnoff for me considering that the purpose of these books is to make your models look like the ones in the photographs. Still, it is not an ultimate bomb as there are some techniques that are quite interesting and are worth trying. The text itself is great, as it is easy to read and it flows nicely. If you don't mind the price and are ready to tackle some of the techniques be ready, as some of them are advanced.
