N Scale - March 26, 2005

A ready-to-run Thrall all-door boxcar is available for the following roadnames: BC Hydro, yellow with black ends (RN-17431 single, $20.95; RN-17531 3-pack, $62.85) in four roadnumbers and Louisiana Pacific, beige and freight car red (RN-17433 single $20.95, RN-17533 3-pacl<, $62.95).

A ready-to-run 62-foot, 10-foot 6-inch door insulated boxcar has been re-released for BNSF painted mineral brown in nine new roadnumbers. A single car (RN-17201) retails for $19.95, a 3-pack (RN-17202) retails $59.85.

100-ton Evans coil cars have been released for: DT&I, yellow and black (RN-17667 ready-to-run single, $20.95; RN-17668 ready-to-run 3-pack, $62.85; RN-17767

A 4,740 cubic foot, 3-bay covered hopper has been released for Union Pacific (RN15402) painted gray with shield in nine roadnumbers with Precision Masters trucks and couplers for $14.95 or for a 3-pack (RN15403) for $44.85. The same car is also available with Micro-Trains trucks and couplers for $19.95 (RM-25402) or $59.85 (RM-25403) for a 3-pack.

A ready-to-run 100-ton Evans coil car has been released for the following: CB&Q, BN green with Burlington on the hood (RR-32503), five roadnumbers; Grand Trunk Western, blue (RR-32508), twelve roadnumbers; DT&I, yellow and black (RR-32526); Milwaukee Road, yellow and black (RR-32527), twelve roadnumbers; and undecorated, gray with round hood (RR-32551). The decorated coil cars retail for $35.95 each, the undecorated version retails for $30.95.

Steel Sided GS Gons are available for: SP post 56 scheme, (RR-35019 ready-to-run, $28.95 or RC-5019 kit, $24.95) and SP&S with board extensions (RR35203 ready-torun, $32.95). Both are painted boxcar red and are available in twelve roadnumbers.

A 1937, AAR standard boxcar has been re-released in nine roadnumbers for New Haven (black with orange door, RR-38070 ready-to-run or RC-8070 kit) and Santa Fe (freight car red, RR-38100 ready-to-run or RC-8100 kit). The ready-to-run model retails for $28.95 and the kit retails for $24.95.

X-29 plate end boxcars have been released as ready-to-run or as a kit for PRR Merchandise Service (RR37076 ready-to-run, $29.95 or RC-7076 kit, $25.95) in twelve roadnumbers and re-released for Seaboard "Orange Blossom Special" (RR-37101 readyto-run, $28.95 or RC-7101 kit, $24.95) in nine roadnumbers. A Thrall All-Door car has been released for Cooperstown & Charlotte Valley Railway, painted black. The ready-to-run car (RN-17416) is available as a single car in six roadnumbers for $19.95.

The following "'I" type, 103-W 10,000 gallon tank cars are available ready-to-run in four different roadnumbers: Conoco silver (RR-33024), Skelgas - black (RR-33026), Warren - silver (RR-33030), and Koppers - black (RR-33033). The models retail for $28.95 each.

A post 1952 scheme, wood sided refrigerator car has been released for PFE "Black & White Heralds" painted with PFE orange sides and PFE red ends and roof. The refrigerator car is available in twelve roadnumbers as a kit (RC-4157) for $20.95 or ready-to-I u n (RR-34157) for $28.95.

A steel side GS gondola has been re-released for Milwaukee Road, painted freight car red. The gondola is available in six roadnumbers as a kit (KC-5014) for $20.95 or ready-to-run (RR-35014) for $28.95.

A steel side GS gondola has been re-released for Soo Lines, painted freight car red. The gondola is available in six roadnumbers as a kit (RC-5015) for $20.95 or ready-to-run (RR-35015) for $28.95.

A composite side GS gondola with board extensions has been re-released for Southern Pacific, painted freight car red. The gondola is available in twelve roadnumbers as a kit (RC-5183) for $27.95 or ready-to-run (RR35183) for $32.95.

A ready-to-run 100-ton Evans coil car has been released for Chicago South Shore - black (RR-32518), CSX "Spring Hill Express" - freight car red (RR-32519), and Chicago Northwestern-black (RR-32520). The cars are available in twelve different roadnumbers and retail for $34.95, except for the CSX version, which retails for $35.95.

New Releases from Red Caboose - July 31, 2004

Red Caboose has announced new ready-to-run single door, double door, and riveted boxcars and GS gondolas. The new HO cars are available in nine different roadnumbers.

A 1937 AAR 10-foot single door boxcar has been released for the following roadnames in freight card red: Indiana Harbor Belt, Chesapeake & Ohio, and Atlantic Coast Line, as built. The boxcars retail for $28.95 each.

A 1937 AAR 10-foot double door boxcar has been released for the following roadnames: Union Pacific, Union pacific red and Wabash, freight car red.

A 4-3-1, 6-foot door, riveted 10-foot six inch boxcar is available for Colorado & Southern. The boxcar is painted freight car red and retail for $28.95

A steel side GS Gondola has been released for the following: Soo Line, freight car red and Northern Pacific with board extensions, Black. The gondola is available in six roadnumbers and retails for $32.95 each.

A Northern Pacific Steel Side GS Gondola has been released as a kit and in a readyto-run version. The gondola is painted black and is available in twelve different roadnumbers. The kit (RC-5004) retails for $17.95 and the RTR version (RR-35004) retails for $27.95.

A 73 foot center beam flat car has been released ready to run for Columbia & Cowlitz and BNSE The Columbia & Cowlitz flat car (RN16511) is painted blue and is available in six different roadnumbers. The BNSF flat car (RN-16515) is painted mineral brown and is available in twelve different roadnumbers. The flat cars retail for $19.95 each.

The boxcar is available far Delaware & Hudson (RR-38016 - ready to run or RC-8016 - kit), Central of Georgia (RR38075 - ready to run or RC-8075 - kit), and Southern Pacific T&NO (RR-38081- ready to run or RC - 8081). The boxcars are painted freight car red and are available in six different roadnumbers. The D&W and T&NO boxcar kits come with metal wheels. The boxcars retail for $26.95 for the ready to run version or $14.95 for the kit.
