Maersk Sealand opened new container facilities at the Port of Los Angeles in August 2002, and a pair of engines from both Norfolk Southern and Burlington Northern Santa Fe were painted into special schemes to commemorate the event. NS painted 5040-23329 and BNSF chose SDF40-2 (a former SDP40F). Each locomotive was painted into Maersk Sealand's distinctive light blue, silver, and black. Canadian Pacific created a new image for their various segments in 1969, renaming the rail operations CP Rail. A new logo and paint scheme were utilized, and these new colors carried over, naturally; to their past, passenger car fleet. This new decal will letter CP Rail's stainless steel passenger equipment, and includes the red stripe that ran the length of these cars. Also included is Deluxe lettering for business car Assinboine.

CP Rail Passenger Cars (1969-1978) is available for N scale (#60-1160) for $4.00 and HO (#87-1160) for $5.00.
