Kadee Offers new PS1 boxcars, AAR hoppers, and PS2 Hoppers.
Kadee continues to expand their line of renowned HO scale PS1 boxcars, AAR Standard covered hoppers, and PS-2 double bay hoppers.
New PS-1 40-foot boxcars are available for C&G and Milwaukee Road. A 50- foot PS1 boxcar is also available for SOO.
New PS-2 2-bay covered hoppers are available for PRR and UP. The hoppers are gray with black lettering and feature functional roof hatch covers.

AAR Standard Hopper
Kadee has released four new 1950s-era freight cars this month: two AAR Standard open bay hoppers, a PS-1 boxcar, and a PS-2 double hopper. The models are fully assembled and ready to run. Each features Kadee couplers and wheelsets.
Two factory-new 1955, 50 ton AAR Standard open bay hoppers with wine latches and box defect card holders have been released for Reading Railroad. The ready-to-run hoppers are painted black and feature a lump-egg coal load.
A factory-new, 1954, 40-foor PS-1 boxcar with 6-foot Youngstown door has been released for Missouri-Kansas-Texas. Painted oxide red, the fully assembled boxcar features full-length ladders, roofwalk, and scale couplers.
A factory-new 1958, PS-2 2-bay hopper is available for Great Northern. The hopper features notched roof, hat rib, and tube defect card holder. Painted Alkali resisting light gray, the ready-to-run hopper features scale couplers.
Whisker Couplers
Kadee has released three shank-length "scale" all-metal, self-centering "whisker" couplers in HO scale. The couplers are available in short, medium, or long shank lengths to accommodate a wide range of mounting situations. The couplers may be mounted with supplied draft gear box, other Kadee gear boxes, or with manufacturers' cast-on coupler pockets. The short shank measures 1/4 inch, the medium shank measures 9/32 of an inch, and the long shank measures 25/64 of an inch.
