55 Years Gone

Our "Guestbook"

One thing that we vowed not to have is a Guestbook where visitors could leave comments. We still don't have a guestbook, but we've had some emails over the past two months that have helped us get through this. Your words mean more to us than you might think. What follows is representative of the type of support we've had. Thanks to all who've written or called.

"I'm very sorry to hear about the condition of the shop and your house. I was happy to hear that everyone is safe. I went with a friend from work to his house in St. Bernard and shot some video for him to show his family so I've seen what you're talking about. I really can't imagine it being my house - I hope that doesn't sound bad - it's just my way of not saying "I know how you feel" because no one could. If there is anything I can do to help you in any way, please let me know. I do mean that, a lot of people say it, but I'm very sincere. I know guys have trouble allowing people to help them. They think they have to do everything themselves (it's just a 'guy' thing'). That may be true for most cases, but this is not a 'usual' situation. - - - Bill Wolfe, Hometown-Hobbies.com
