General Longstreet by Roger Swanton

Hard to believe, but this figure started life as the Airfix 54mm Napoleonic Lifeguard. I converted it to Tom Berringer as General Longstreet in the movie Gettysburg.



I modified the figure using tissue paper soaked in superglue. The head was taken from the Airfix marine



Putty and tissue was used to form the hat and beard. I painted it with a mixture of Testors and Tamiya acrylics.
