Taskboard

Taskboard is a material used in model making that can best be described as a cross between chipboard and bass wood. It's cream in color, similar to butterboard.

Taskboard's ultra-low density is extremely easy to cut, facilitating the fast cuts of ideation models and the precise intricate details required for presentation models.

It is the only project board that can be sanded both on edge and surface. Produce invisible joint by sanding misalignments, glue spills, pen and pencil marks. Sand down steps of topographic models.

Taskboard will easily form using steam from a kettle, bending in seconds and retaining its new shape as soon as it is removed from the steam source. Freeform or use templates to achieve precise curves and bends.

Taskboard's construction is highly absorbent and facilitates sturdy bonds. Use white glue for invisible joints. Use solvent-based glue for fast ideation models. Use low tack spray-mount to cut directly off of plans or printouts. Hot glue may also be used.

Us spray-mount or solvent-based glue to laminate to any thickness. Create topographic models with true 1/16" contour intervals.

A taskboard model looks great in photos - invisible joints and smooth edges conceal the true model size; and Taskboard's ISO brightness of 62/62 enhances light shades, shadows and details. Taskboard can also be painted with any paint ane will look superb in photos.

It is manufactured from sustainable forestry and is totally biodegradable.

Available in 1/16 and 3/32 thickness, in sheets either 20" X 30" or 30" X 40".
