Fiesler Fi158 by Leo Cox

This is a model of the Fieseler Fi158. The kit is 1/72 scale made by A.V. resin.







There was a lot of photo-etched pieces to this one. I also scratchbuilt the interior and landing gear retraction struts. Dental x-ray lead foil was used to fabricate the parachute straps and helmet.

This model won 1st place in the 1/72 single engine aircraft category at the 2003 Flying Tigers model contest in New Orleans.
