Building the Tamiya T55 by John Daniel





This Tamiya 1/35 T55A was constructed to represent a vehicle in Russian service during the Cold War. Friulmodel white metal tracks have been fitted along with a CMD gun barrel.



The model has been finished in a slightly semi gloss finish giving it a "wet" look. Also, the fuel lines running on the outside of the vehicle have been reproduced, a feature missing in the kit. The rear un-ditching log has been distressed and weathered, yielding a highly realistic finish. Metal tow cables replaced the kit items. This is a well constructed and painted model.
